Worlds Fair Park

This morning we wend to the Worlds Fair Park to enjoy the Knox County Library reading event. It was lots of fun. We enjoyed the great weather with our friends The Sipes and ate lunch at Calhouns on the River. Great spring Saturday!

Eating lunch at Calhouns. The kids loved the boats and the ducks!

Bailey's first taste of chocolate milk. YUMMY...
Conner loved the sprinkler park. Bailey was a touch afraid but got a little wet with her daddy!

All Cleaned Up...

All the cousins took a bath after being totally filthy from a hard day's play. Aren't they sweet!

Memorial Day Fun...

All my family came to visit this weekend to meet my sister's new fiance, Brian. We had such a great time. The weather was perfect and the kids played outside all day. We had a fabulous shrimp boil for dinner and really enjoyed each others company! I hope everyone else had a great Memorial Day weekend too!

Martha Wayne and Brian...
Bailey with 2 important things, paci and bug spray!
Harper had a blast in the sprinkler.
Townes loved playing around in the grass.
The "rocket pops" had enough red dye to stain your lips for days.
Harper is getting to be such a big boy. He will go to Kindergarten next year.
They all love "Aunt MW".
The "rocket pops" were a hit. I think each child had at least 3 of them.
It almost looks like blood dripping from his mouth...
We love our COUSINS!!!!

Take me out to the ball game...

We all enjoyed a night at the ballpark. The Smokies lost, but we still had fun. Hot dogs, peanuts, and a blanket on the grass. Bailey even wrapped up in the blanket at the end with her paci and blankee.

Lovin' the Spring!

It was so warm and sunny today, we got out the sprinkler. Bailey is totally into water and we thought she would love it. Well, she liked it but only wanted to play in it for a few minutes. Oh well... She was cute to watch. We are going to the Tennessee Smokies baseball game tonight. We will sit in the grassy outfield and hopefully Bailey will enjoy running around.

More projects...

So, I have made a few more small things with the web fuse and fabric. Following Kristin's lead, I also made a bag for a birthday party. It turned out really cute. I also made a onesie for a friend having a little girl in a few weeks. Anyway, I was getting frustrated by the limitations and ordered a sewing/embroidery machine today. I am really excited and now have to learn to sew and find the time. But like my mom says, once you start sewing, you won't want to stop...

Like most toddlers, Bailey loves markers. I could just kiss the person who came up with washable markers. What a lifesaver. So, I left Bailey outside on the deck and came back to find that she had written all over herself. Too funny!

Bailey has this funny face she makes, it is hilarious. She clenches her fists at the same time.

More of Bailey talking...

As most of you know, bargain shopping and being thrifty is more of a hobby to me. I am obsessed with monogramming and wanted to try something myself. So...after following a fellow friends blog, a quick trip to Wal-Mart, and about $30, I was ready. My first outfit for Bailey definitely needed improvement, but not bad... If I can just occupy my toddler, I want to try again!

This onesie is for my friend Sarah who is preggo with her first baby, Reid. It turned out really cute!

Our Talkative Girl...

To the Zoo, finally...

Mark's parents got us a Zoo membership for Christmas and the rain finally stopped long enough for us to go. It was so fun. Bailey and I went with Melissa and Riley and it was the perfect day. Both kids loved the carousel. We rode it twice and had to drag both of them off kicking and screaming.

Bailey had to have her toes painted just like me... Oh what a girl!
